White Clay Creek Flood Study Public Meeting

Join us for the next community meeting exploring the White Clay flood model.

Last meeting, we walked through the new watershed flood model, what’s driving increased flooding, and early results showing how well it captures past storm events. This meeting, we’ll dive into future storm scenarios using Avondale Borough as the first case study. See 2D flood simulations comparing the 5-year and 100-year design storm, present day and future climate scenarios, and existing and future conditions scenarios. We’ll also share how we plan to identify additional flood hotspots across the watershed.
